We had a great time & a relaxing time!  Our friends came up to visit over the weekend to hang out.  Lots of dominoes & cards!  We will be calling to rent this awesome place soon.  No phone, no traffic, no one to bother us -  so great.

Lots of deer in the yard and when we were leaving, one bull elk.

Patty & Paul Carr: Pittsburgh, PA - 10/24/04

We just loved it.  We were "at home" instantly.  We relaxed, rested, saw great scenery, a 16 mile bike ride through great autumn leaves color.  And, 4 elk in our front yard this Sunday morning!  Hat to leave.  We'll be back!

Dennie & Pam Koscho: Heilwood, PA - 10/9/04 -10/11/04

If you are reading this just as you have arrived, you are in for a treat.  This place is fantastic.  The house has everything yo need.  We arrived Sat. afternoon @ 3:00 and had already seen 6 elk - 4 cows & 2 bulls.  After relaxing in the hot tub (nice touch) I was putting the cover on and watched a 6x6 bull come into the yard to the salt lick..., watched him for 1/2 hr at less than 40 ft.  Sunday morning we listened to the bugle (so cool) spent Sunday morning counting elk in the area.  We drove to St. Marys about 11:00... a bobcat ran across the road in front of us and stopped and watched us for a minute.  We got to watch some of the steeler game thanks to the satellite dish....

Take your time, relax, take it all in, no rush.  Your cell phone will not work around here and that's not a bad thing.  We sat on the deck Sunday evening and watched the deer run.

Thank you so much for letting us take in what God gave us.  We needed this!

The Haydens from Massachusetts & Michigan - Thanksgiving 2004

What a special place to meet and share our Thanksgiving.  As we remembered our blessings, we were surrounded by the beauty and splendor of nature.

Mike & Paula Hayden: Bourne, MA
This was a great place to spend Thanksgiving for a cold fall evening and watch the deer grab a snack from the bird feeder.  The elk were impressive to watch down at the viewing areas.  The Elk View Diner makes good elk and buffalo burgers.  All in all, everything was great and we will be back for family gatherings between MI & MA.

John & Dena Hayden, Vassar, Michigan
This was our home for four wonderful days.  Our children live away from us now.  We have to be creative in the ways that we get together.  What a better way to do it than in a natural setting, such as this, I can't imagine.

Here we have bonded with our children and watched our grandchildren grow.  The sharing that took place here was magical.  The natural wonders are intense.  We love this place and hope to return.

Thank You

Our family had a great time watching the elk and enjoying your camp. We've been on allot of fishing and hunting trips and my wife always cringes when I tell her that I found a place for us to stay.

Well, when she saw your place she said I finally hit a home run. Plan on seeing us again in the future!

Attached is a photo and I will follow up with 4 more. Use them if you like.

"Wow, loved everything. We were greeted on Friday upon our arrival by 4 elk (cows) in the driveway - Could not have been more surprised/pleased. The house is perfect, had everything we could have needed.

On Saturday evening 3 cows joined us for dinner and we were serenaded until at least 11 PM by bulls bugling as we enjoyed the camp fire. Sunday, awoke at 7:15 AM to find a small 8 pt. bull grazing in front yard. Thanks for a memorable weekend, we will visit again soon.
